THE REGULATIONS FOR PUBLICATIONS/학회지발간규정

1. Publication of the Journal: The Yeats Society of Korea (Society) publishes The Yeats Journal of Korea (Journal) tri-annually, 30 April, 31 August, and 31 December to promote the spread of the knowledge and information on and the study of Yeats and Irish literature in the world and Korea among scholars and students of the world.

2. Nature of the Journal: The Journal's proper area of study is Yeats and other disciplines related to him, but it publishes, including reviews of new books, other pieces of writing that will help promote the study of Yeats and Modern and contemporary poets and poetry.

3. New Articles: The Journal publishes only new studies that have not been published in other places.

4. Submitters: Only the Society member or a distinguished scholar of world renown can publish pieces in the Journal but if a none-member wants to publish, he or she has to get recommended by the member and approved of by the Editorial Board.

5. Style:
1) The manuscript either in English or in Korea is accepted. All articles include Abstracts in English and Korean.
2) The Korean manuscript should be in Hangeul; the English manuscript in MS Word.
3) The amount of a manuscript should not exceed 40 pages. (For more detail, see the Journal Manuscript Preparation Guidelines below)

6. Submission, Revision, and Copyrights:
1) The Editor can refuse to accept a submission if it does not follow the Journal Manuscript Preparation Guidelines.
2) The proofs will be sent to the author once or twice, and the author should send the revised manuscript back within five days of receipt. The Journal does not take any responsibility for the manuscript's content or the revisions the author makes.
3) The author receives three hard copies, and if more are needed, they should be purchased.
4) The Journal has all the rights for all that are published in it. If the author and/or the publisher who wants to use part or all of the publication in the Journal for other purposes, including copying, distribution, broadcasting, performance, exhibition, or other secondary uses, the author and/or the publisher should get written permission from the Journal.

7. Editorial Board and Obligations:
1) The Society has a Permanent Editorial Board which takes care of editing the Journal and of other academic events related to the Journal promotion.
2) The Domestic Editorial Board has up to 15 reading editors, including the Editor in Chief (Editor). The Editor is selected from among most accomplished Yeats scholars in the world and Korea. The number of editors from abroad is not limited.
3) The Editor assigns three readers to every submission to assess it for publication.
4) When reading all the submissions is finished, the Editor calls an Editorial Board meeting, in which the editors make final decisions to or not to publish each submission.
5) The author is to explain the revisions in writing acceptable to the readers.
6) If there is no explanation or if it is unsatisfactory, the editors can reject the submission.
7) Even after the decision to publish a submission is made, the Editorial Board may make public part of the reading of the submission without releasing the reader's name so as to enhance the quality of further submissions.

8. Submission Fee: The submitter pays KRW 200,000. for an article up to 30 pages (or 9000 words) when it did not get research grants; KRW 300,000. when it received research grants. When the article has more than 30 pages, the author has to pay for the extra pages at the rate of KRW 10,000. per page. If the Member has not paid the annual fees for more than three years, he or she has to pay three years' annual fees or KRW 100,000. if he or she wants to submit and publish an article in the Journal.

9. Any that is not in the Regulations follows the practice of the Academic Circles of the world and Korea and the decisions of the Editorial Board.

10. The Regulations take effect from 1 March 2003.


학회지 발간 규정

1. 학회지 발간:한국예이츠학회(이하 학회)는 예이츠 및 아일랜드 문학을 연구하는 국내 및 해외 학자들의 연구 활동과 정보교환을 촉진시키기 위해 정기학술지 The Yeats Journal of Korea(「한국 예이츠저널」)을 매년 4월 30일, 8월 31일, 12월 31일 3회 발행한다.

2. 학회지의 성격:「한국 예이츠저널」은 원칙적으로 예이츠 및 예이츠와 관련된 문학적 내용의 논문을 게재한다. 단, 학술정보의 빠른 교환을 위해 신간서적에 대한 서평, 회원들의 연구업적 보고 및 연구활동의 활성화를 위한 제언 등 예이츠 연구에 도움이 된다고 생각되는 내용도 게재할 수 있다.

3. 논문의 자격:본 학회지 논문은 다른 출판물에 발표된 적이 없는 논문으로 한정된다.
4. 투고자의 자격: 원칙적으로 한국예이츠학회 회원과 해외의 저명 예이츠 학자만이 본 학회지에 논문게재를 신청할 수 있다. 단, 회원의 추천과 편집위원회의 동의가 있을 경우에는 비회원도 논문게재를 신청할 수 있다.

5. 원고작성:
1) 원고는 영문 또는 한글로 작성한다. 모든 논문은 영문 Abstract와 우리말 요약을 첨부한다.
2) 한글원고는 "아래 한글"로 작성하며, 영문원고는 MSWORD나 "아래한글"로 작성한다.
3) 원고의 분량은 본 학회지 30쪽 내외로 하되 40쪽을 초과해서는 안 된다. (원고작성 세부지침 참조)

6. 원고제출, 교정 및 저작권:
1) 편집위원장은 원고작성 규정에 맞지 않는 원고를 위원회에 상정하지 않고 집필자에게 반송할 수 있다.
2) 교정쇄는 저자에게 1회 내지 2회에 걸쳐 전달되며, 저자는 그것을 받은 날부터 5일 이내에 편집위원회에 도착하도록 신속하게 처리해야 한다. 교정은 전적으로 저자의 책임 하에 이루어지며, 따라서 본 학회는 내용의 오류로 인해 입은 저자의 피해에 대해 어떠한 책임도 지지 않는다.
3) 저자는 학회지 3부를 받게 되며, 더 필요할 경우에는 따로 구입해야 한다.
4) 본 학회는 「한국 예이츠 저널」에 게재된 논문의 모든 종류의 저작권을 갖는다. 따라서 논문 전체 또는 일부분을 복제, 배포, 방송, 공연, 전시하거나, 2차 저작물이나 편집 저작물을 만들어 이용할 경우 저자나 출판사는 사전에 본 학회의 동의를 얻어야 한다.

7. 편집위원회의 구성과 임무:
1) 본 학회는 「한국 예이츠 저널」의 편집과 기타 학술활동과 관련된 문제들을 처리하기 위해 상설 편집위원회를 둔다.
2) 편집위원회는 국내 편집인의 경우 위원장을 포함하여 15인 이내로 구성한다. 편집위원장은 학문적 역량이 검증된 회원을 엄선하여 위원으로 위촉한다. 해외 편집위원의 경우 인원수의 제한을 두지 않는다.
3) 접수된 논문의 게재 여부를 결정하기 위해 편집위원장은 각 논문에 대해 편집 위원을 포함한 3인에게 심사를 의뢰한다.
4) 접수된 모든 논문들에 대한 심사가 완료되면 편집위원장은 위원회를 소집하여 심사결과보고서를 심의한 뒤에 각 논문의 게재 여부를 결정한다.
5) 논문게재 신청자는 편집위원회의 수정요구에 대해 납득할 만한 답변을 서면으로 제시해야 한다.
6) 심사위원의 수정제의 판정에 대해 만족할 만한 답변이 없을 경우 편집위원회는 그 논문의 게재를 거부할 수 있다.
7) 투고된 원고의 게재가 결정된 경우에도 편집위원회는 논문의 질을 높이기 위해 익명의 조건 하에 심사위원의 심사내용 일부를 공개할 수 있다.

8. 논문게재료: 편당 30쪽까지 일반논문인 경우에는 200,000원을, 연구비수혜논문인 경우에는 300,000원을, 그리고 30쪽을 초과하는 경우에는 1쪽당 10,000원을 추가로 부담해야 한다. 3년 이상 회비를 납부하지 않은 회원이 논문게재를 원할 경우에는 3년분 회비에 해당하는 금액 100,000원을 납부하여야 한다.

9. 본 규정에 명시되어 있지 않은 사항에 대해서는 학계의 관행과 편집위원회의 심의 의결에 따른다.

10. 본 규정은 2003년 3월 1일부터 시행한다.
